Spread a little Puppy Love this February! 🐾💛

Throughout the month of February, we are hosting a Puppy Love Animal Shelter Donation Drive to support local animals in need.

We have donation boxes and the shelters wish lists located in the lobbies of all three YMCA branches, and we’ll be collecting much-needed items for:

🐶 Michiana Humane Society
🐾 LaPorte County Animal Control & The Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center

Adoption applications are available at the front counter, or you can simply scan the QR codes in our branches to apply.

What a fun way to end Bodypump at La Porte! 🎉💪

Ashleigh wrapped up her group exercise class last week with a celebratory group photo with participants wearing 50th birthday glasses to honor not one, not two, but THREE birthdays!

One member is celebrating the big 5-0, and we even had a 70th birthday in the mix — how amazing is that?!

We love celebrating our Y family and all the special milestones along the way. Happy Birthday to our wonderful members… here’s to health, happiness, and many more strong years ahead!

We are so grateful for their donation of 8 cases of hats, coats, and sweatshirts to the Michigan City Elston Care Closet.

These items will be given free of charge to visitors in our community who may be in need of extra warmth and support this season.

Our 4-week youth volleyball clinic is a fun, high-energy introduction for ages 5–10. Led by Coach Sam and Coach Brent, players learn the basics—passing, setting, serving, movement, and hand-eye coordination—through age-appropriate drills and games. The focus is on teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and having fun while staying active.
