It's National Handwashing Awareness Week! 🧼

This week serves as a reminder that the most effective way to prevent the spread of germs and infection is by washing your hands. That is why regular hand washing is so important, especially in healthcare settings. Here at Miller's, we have sinks in each unit as well as sanitizing stations in every room. Make sure to practice healthy habits and keep those hands clean!

Congratulations to Sue Ross for being voted November's Employee of the Month! Sue is an incredible member of our dietary team. She works hard every day to ensure residents are well nourished and provided with meals they enjoy. We love the energy Sue brings to work and are glad that she is a member of our team! Outside of work, Sue enjoys spending time with loved ones and taking care of her horses. She has recently graduated high school and plans to earn a degree in veterinary technology. Way to go, Sue!

Do you remember our Sandhill Crane visitors from over the summer? Well, they're still here! We think they're beginning to enjoy us as much as we enjoy them, frequently approaching the windows and interacting with residents. Or maybe they just like the abundant source of bird seed around the building. Either way, we enjoy watching them and are not looking forward to the day they leave us for the winter.

Some residents have started giving them names. What do you think, should we keep them?
