Fetal growth restriction is defined as fetal growth less then the 10th percentile (either overall or abdominal circumference). I recommend these measures to all my patients not only with growth restricted babies, but also those with growth at the lower end of normal. Eating a high protein diet doesn't need to be expensive. Most Walmart locations carry the majority of food items on the list, as well as a store brand protein shake.
