It's the last day of Tuesday Laramie Local Market, and we've pulled out the stoppers;

Red Door Kitchen will be there with 3 kinds of poppers:

Jalapeño cheddar cornbread- a fan favorite,
Devil's food- for the sweet tooth, and

Dear Laramie friends and fans,
Because I will be gone from the 13th through 24th for a family funeral service, I have been busy tying up loose ends and have not had time to cook this week with the love and care I prefer to use in cooking for community.

Red Door Kitchen will not be at the Tuesday Laramie Local Market tomorrow, August 12, or next Tuesday the 19th, BUT
will return for the final day of the market, Tuesday, August 26, with the same menu I had planned for tomorrow to round out a great market summer season.

Thanks for understanding, thanks for your passion for fresh local foods, and see you August 26!

Good morning, Laramie, we are on the edge of the weekend! Turkey, bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich by Red Door Kitchen. Cranberry walnut bread made by Styria Bakery II, egg from Wyoming Worm Wrangler, Sheila Bird Farms tomatoes on the side. I'm really excited to bring small batch fresh ravioli back to Tuesday Laramie Local Market this week in Undine Park.

This is special: Sorrel Ravioli. The gorgeous fresh red veined sorrel comes from Sheila Bird Farms. Chopped and sauteed in butter, this green lends a bright lemony tang to the filling, mixed with bread from Hearth and Honey, eggs from Wyoming Worm Wrangler and cottage cheese, with a hint of garlic.

This ravioli is a real LOCAL showcase and harks back to the beginnings of Red Door Kitchen, when a friend came to market to pick up his CSA share at Sheila Bird and said, "I wish I could cook this good stuff," to which I replied, "I can!"

- Stuffed Bell Peppers (GF), $7 ea. or 2 for $12
- Red Chili (vegan, GF), $4 1/2 pint, $7/pint (placemat in the photo made by West Wind Enterprises!)
- Poppers! $1 ea., $5 1/2 doz., $9 doz. in 2 flavors to go with that chili: Corn on the Cob Cornbread and Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread, made with fresh eggs from Wyoming Worm Wrangler!

Super excited for Market this week- again! Red Door Kitchen will have rack full-dried fettuccine, vegetarian chili, corn on the cob bread and jalapeño cheddar cornbread poppers, and stuffed bell peppers!

Happy Sunday, Laramie! It's WyoGives Day week, and we're looking forward to celebrating our LOCAL non-profit organizations this week at Tuesday Local Market!

Speaking of giving, a warm THANK YOU to Biscuits and Jam who donated their music stipend to the Eppson Center for Seniors and Deacon Brown Blues Band, who donated theirs to Wyoming Public Radio! We are thrilled to be part of this giving community.

Oops! I gummed up my spaghetti roller making truffle oil spaghetti yesterday, so fettuccine will replace that on the menu tomorrow- fresh made and rack dried. On the up side, I'll be bringing a micro batch, just 2 bags, of truffle oil spaghetti tomorrow. First come, first served!

Yep, that's me telling my countertop mixer how much I love it. And that's pasta dough in the bowl.

This week at Tuesday Local Market Red Door Kitchen will have small batch fresh made pastas:
- Florentine ravioli
- Mushroom, bell pepper and truffle oil ravioli
- Rack dried spaghetti

This week we'll have some fresh tomato sauce in half pints too, mac-n-cheese poppers, maybe some cauliflower mac-n-cheese, and I've got fresh tarragon on the counter wondering if I'll do something with it.




Fixins are ready. Grab a vegetarian Italian sandwich at Tuesday Local Market tomorrow. Just 4 bucks.
