Thank you for coming to the studio to talk pelvic floor function and health with us this past weekend !

Some highlights we discussed:
✨all people have a pelvic floor 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️
✨yes, even men’s issues like ED can be addressed with pelvic floor physical therapy !
✨experiences like pain with s*x & leakage with sneezing / coughing / jumping are COMMON but NOT NORMAL
✨your hip pain or low back pain will likely be helped by your pelvic floor !
✨a majority of people’s pelvic floor muscles are actually too TIGHT.
✨This means that NO, you don’t need to just do kegels! You need trained professionals like & Pilates instructors to support you in nuanced expansion + contraction of these muscles, and functional core training.
✨your pelvic pain and dysfunction CAN be resolved with pelvic floor physical therapy 🫶
✨talk to your doctor, get into PT, and talk to your people about pelvic related issues you are struggling with. Destigmatizing these issues by sharing our stories helps others recognize relief is possible!
