Join us for a thought-provoking Scientific Meeting presented by the Psychoanalytic Association of WCSPP:

Impairments to the “Therapeutic Minding” of Black Boys
Presenter: Kirkland C. Vaughans, PhD

This presentation invites psychoanalysts and psychoanalytic therapists to examine systemic racism and its unacknowledged effects upon the developing psyches of Black youth. It will consider the transgenerational trauma as a legacy from slavery, our educational and apartheid institutional arrangements of living, and the impediments to cross racial therapeutic engagement.
