🔥What’s the #1 enemy of your goals?🔥

I’m talking about the absolute biggest roadblock standing in your way.

There are so many to choose from:
❌Not having enough time
❌Lack of support
❌Not knowing what to do
❌Your genetics
❌Pizza
The list goes on and on!

😲But what if I told you that none of those things are actually your enemy? (Seriously!)

That’s because… drumroll… the #1 thing standing in between you and your goals is:

YOU.

We get in our own way in so many ways. Here are just a few:

🚫You haven’t made reaching your goals a true priority. This means you let your healthy habits slide when you’re stressed/tired/something more fun comes along.
🚫You have imposter syndrome. You don’t think you are worthy of your goals, which makes it easier to quit.
🚫You haven’t set yourself up for success. It’s super easy to get discouraged and quit when you don’t have a plan, support, accountability, etc.
🚫You think you don’t have the willpower. EVERYONE (and I mean EVERYONE) struggles from time to time. But when you know WHY your goal matters to you, it’s easier to overcome those struggles.
🚫You let one “slip” derail you. No one is perfect 24/7. The people who reach their goals get up after a slip-up, dust themselves off, figure out what went wrong, and get back at it!

Those are just a few off the top of my head. There are dozens more.

💡BUT… knowing yourself and being aware of the ways that YOU tend to get in your own way, will help you to become even STRONGER.

What would happen if the next time you sabotaged yourself, you took some real time to think about the reasons why – without beating yourself up for it?

Is Weight Loss Really 80 Percent Diet and 20 Percent Exercise?🤔

YES and our client Rachal is proof of that! 😎

When I first spoke to Rachal she had been attending Orange Theory for the past 2 months but was not seeing any results.

When I asked her about her nutrition she said she wasn’t following a structured plan but she was doing her best to eat somewhat healthy.

And there it was… the reason why she was not seeing results. Her focus was backwards.

She was doing 80% exercise and 20% nutrition.

I see many people make this mistake all the time.

They think “If I do hours of cardio everyday or start going to a boot camp, I’m going to lose weight”
but they’re often disappointed when they don’t.

Nutrition is the most important aspect of losing weight and ill explain why below.

They 🔑 to weight loss is achieving a negative balance, or taking in less calories than you burn.

To lose 1 pound you need to achieve a 3,500 calorie deficit.

So if you follow the 80/20 ratio you want to burn approximately 750 calories through exercise and cut 3,000 calories through dieting.

The reason why focusing on nutrition is way more effective is because it takes a great deal of activity to create a BIG deficit through exercise. 😰

Now that doesn’t mean you should quit your one hour workout class. A sweat sesh combined with a nutrition program will give you dramatic results.

This is what happened to our client Rachal🔥

The bottom line is, you can lose weight without exercise, but you cannot lose weight if your nutrition counteracts your energy expenditure through exercise.

Hey, it happens to the best of us.

When you’re hungry and only have a few minutes or bucks, fast food calls out to you.

YES, fast food tends to be high in calories. sodium and not enough fiber. But, there are some healthier fast-food options out there. You just need to know how to order.

That said I picked 5 healthier alternatives from popular fast food chains:

✅Taco Bell Grilled Steak Taco- I picked this because it has 12g of protein and it’s only 200 calories.

✅Pizza Hut Small Veggie Lovers Thin and Crispy Pizza- For 3 slices you get 12g of protein and 3g of fiber. This option is great for my vegan people🥬🥦🥬

✅Starbucks Feta Egg White Wrap- this wrap has spinach which is a good source of iron, and egg whites, which provide lean, low fat protein. It also has a good balance of fat and cheese, fiber from the vegetables wrap and protein from egg whites. It’s a total WIN with 20g of protein and 3g of fiber.( Just don’t mess it up by getting a high calorie drink. If you need to refer to my 100 calorie Starbucks drinks).

✅Chick-Fil-A Grilled Chicken Wrap Sandwich- This high in fiber and protein sandwich is a total win when you need to get a quick bite. Not only is it high protein but it’s also low in calories.

✅McDonald’s Cheeseburger: With 300 calories, 13g of fat and 15g of protein, it can be a calorically-conscious choice.

Karina replied: “No clue, forgot who she was 😜 but my God, it’s been an amazing journey! From the compliments I’ve gotten at work to the compliments I give myself! I can now look in the mirror and not put myself down the way I use to! And it’s not only the lbs I’ve lost that make me happy, but the way I feel and how I now look at myself that has made me the happiest!😍

Every now and then I look at that first pic and I’m like damn, I was at my heaviest, depressed, hating everything I wore, didn’t want to look at myself in the mirror, stressed and thinking it was over for me, time in my life.You have created one of the best programs that don’t make you feel like you are “dieting” and makes you love everything you eat! I know I have a ways to go..Thank you so much for encouraging me, guiding me and believing in me! I never thought I’d see myself in a smaller body😭.
