Thank you to the Texas Department of Transportation, the City of Laredo - Government, Webb County, Texas and our law enforcement partners for raising awareness through this important campaign each year on the Doctors Hospital campus. Our mission with the Click It or Ticket initiative is to save lives and prevent needless injuries caused by the lack of seatbelt use on Texas roads.

Doctors Hospital of Laredo is proud to host this annual event on campus. We also extend our gratitude to all the speakers, including our own Chief Nursing Officer, Amber Hernandez, for sharing their remarks on the critical importance of wearing a seatbelt.

May is Stroke Awareness Month. Many thanks to our friends at KGNS- TV 8 for having Dr. Osama Jamil (Laredo Physicians Group), Neurohospitalist and Medical Director of the Primary Stroke Center at Doctors Hospital, as the noon guest today. Dr. Jamil shared important information about stroke and reminded the community that Doctors Hospital is hosting its annual stroke fair this Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
