☀️ Summer is just around the corner, and we’re excited to bring our patients a season full of fun, interactive therapeutic activities!

Our summer activities are designed to help patients work on their goals in exciting and motivating ways. From improving range of motion by shooting balls during TV Connect Four games, to practicing reaching and wiping skills by cleaning “slime” off the screen during interactive TV games, every activity combines therapy with FUN! 🎮🏖️

Patients will enjoy engaging therapeutic activities, movement games, crafts, sensory play, and more — all while building important skills in a positive and encouraging environment. We can’t wait to make therapy fun this summer! 🌈✨

Summer is the perfect time to build skills through fun, everyday activities! No worksheets needed, just play, explore, and enjoy the moment 💛
✏️ Practice fine motor skills with sidewalk chalk & spray bottles
🏃‍♂️ Build gross motor skills through jumping, walking, and exploring
🧠 Strengthen executive functioning with planning, games, and routines

While pacifiers and sippy cups can be helpful during early stages, prolonged use may impact a child’s oral and speech development.
Over time, extended use can:
🦷 Affect dental development
👂 Be linked to increased ear infections
👅 Impact proper tongue positioning
🗣️ Delay development of mature swallowing patterns

Every child is different, and these tools can absolutely have their place, but it’s important to use them mindfully and begin transitioning when appropriate. 👶✨
