Born on July 24, 1951, in Laredo to Humberto and Lita (Gutierrez) Fasci, Beto was a proud son of South Texas. After beginning his career with the City of Laredo Model Cities Program in 1974, he swiftly became a prominent business and civic leader. He was an Honorary Director of the Laredo Chamber of Commerce and a professional member of several chambers throughout Texas.

Beto’s Entrepreneurial spirit led him to found South Texas Realty in 1980, growing into one of Laredo’s largest real-estate companies, and he later became the owner of Poderosa Realty LLC, serving San Antonio, Laredo, and the RGV. Ever ambitious, was co-owner of a subdivision in Schertz and founder of RGV Preventative Care, Inc. in McAllen. Beto was also co-owner of Bourbon St Bar & Grill, a popular ’90s restaurant in Laredo.

Outside of his professional life, Beto cherished time on the golf course, hunting with friends, and hosting lively carne asadas with loved ones. Above all, he was a devoted father to Valeria J. Fasci and a doting grandfather to Gianna Flores and Marcello Fasci.
He is also survived by his siblings Josie Fasci Garcia, Carlo Fasci, Rebeca Clemencia Fasci, Patricia Fasci, Aldo Fasci, and Claudio Fasci. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as brothers Humberto and Adriel Fasci.

As we say goodbye, we honor his journey with a cherished Irish blessing:

May the road rise up to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, And until we meet again… May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Grateful for the time we shared, we carry forward his optimism, kindness, and generous heart, remembering him always with love, laughter, and faith.
