At 7pm tonight, many families lit a candle in a to remember their loved ones whom they have lost.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Anything can be a trigger, when dealing with loss.

August 22 is National Rainbow Baby Day!!

✨Trigger warning - Miscarriage✨

Did you know that my husband and I have a 🌈rainbow baby?

In 2014, I was pregnant 3 times in one year. The first 2 pregnancies ended in miscarriage. It was a very sad and difficult year until December 19, 2014 when we found out we were expecting our daughter! (Which that day happens to be our wedding anniversary)🙌

That pregnancy did not come without fears and loads of hormonal fueled emotions, grief, sadness, happiness, and all around hard feelings to navigate even though this child would be our second Earth baby.

Some 🌈rainbows may be vibrant and beautiful, others more subtle. All of them are meaningful and important for our healing experiences.

It’s okay to not always feel okay when you are navigating grief, even when you have something to be joyous about. Take each step one at a time. It’s okay to feel sadness, even when you have happiness around.

Sometimes forgiveness is hard😔. We might have old stories and wounds that keep us from even attempting to find forgiveness💔. Part of ourselves might be kicking, screaming, or digging our heels in thinking “I will never forgive them, they hurt me!”

We might even hurt ourselves out of fear. We might not even know how to begin the process of forgiving deep hurts and wounds.

Think of someone who has passed away. How did you feel about their death? Do you wonder if they felt at peace? Think of your own Death.

Hard to do isn’t it? I help take the guesswork and expectations out of Death. Who am I?

I am a Soul Doula. As a Soul Doula I help others during life’s biggest transitions - Birth & Death.

I provide some informational support including what death might look or sound like. We can chat and make tangible plans for your legacy work.

You’ll find I am very passionate about emotional support. Over the years, as a now Retired La Leche League Leader & Birth Doula prior to becoming an End of Life Doula, I have experience with bringing compassionate empathy to tough situations. I am a non biased support person who acts as a mediator, guide, and space holder or as one client’s family member called me a buffer.

I offer spiritual support to everyone, no matter what your religion is, we all have to go through Earth School. We experience situations that can leave us feeling changed. In life, there are so many times where we have felt small, lost, or damaged. This oppportunity of support comes with healing energies and any channeled wisdom that will help to feed your soul.

You can count on autonomy & dignity support. Your wishes are important to me. We will work together to lay out guidelines for all of your support persons, to assist you when you may not be able to express those wishes.

Lastly, I’m there to provide companionship to you and your loved ones. No one dies alone. I will be a companion to you and your family from the moment we meet, until well after you take your last breath. You are not just a number, you are a person. Your experience matters.
