As part of our celebration, the Sky Bridge community, led by our amazing Sales and Marketing Director, Rochelle Clarke, provided a breakfast-to-go for a few of our valued partners and shared heartfelt gratitude with the incredible first responders of PGFD Fire Stations 802 & 800. Remaining physically and socially active is one of the best parts of a healthy retirement. The Sky Bridge at Town Center recognizes the importance of an active lifestyle for people of all ages. The benefits are even greater when you participate in fun or meaningful activities with others. We are excited to be participating in Active Aging Week, the annual celebration that encourages older adults to keep moving, engage in their communities and nurture their own well-being. We are dedicating the week of October 6-12 to staying active by participating in our fitness classes — from seated stretch with weights, chair aerobics, drum circle, line dancing, and cardio drumming, to fun physical activities like co****le and bowling.

Had the best time at the Publick Playhouse for a tribute concert to the one and only Billie Holiday. It honestly felt like we were stepping into a smoky jazz club from back in the day. The singer nailed Billie's emotion and style-gave us chills more than once.😍Nothing like good music, good company, and a night that hits you right in the soul.

How did you celebrate Grandparents Day with your loved ones? For our resident Patricia Smith and her grandniece Amanda Claudie, they performed a poem and dance at our celebration. Patricia was thrilled to share the stage with Amanda and make lasting memories in the process.

“I never thought of myself as a poet,” she told The Enquirer-Gazette. “But people welcomed me with open arms.”
