May your day be filled with joy, hope, and the warmth of time spent with those you love most. Easter is such a beautiful reminder of renewal, gratitude, and the blessings of family, friendship, and community.

We are so thankful for our wonderful residents, their families, and everyone who is part of the Lake House community. You make every day special, and we are grateful to celebrate seasons like this together.

What a fantastic day filled with great food, celebration, and meaningful moments! 🎉

We kicked things off with a lunch outing to Rumba where the food was absolutely delicious and the conversation around the table was even better! 🍽️ Lots of laughs, stories, and full bellies made it a perfect outing. While we were there, we also had the joy of celebrating one very sweet lady’s birthday! 🎂🥳 Nothing better than good friends, good food, and a birthday celebration all in one!

We wrapped up our day with a beautiful Good Friday Service led by Mrs. Linda and Pastor Jonathan from New Life Baptist Church in Largo. We are so grateful for the time and heart they pour into our residents. It was a wonderful and uplifting time of worship and reflection together. ✝️❤️

Bunnies, bums, and buckets! 🐰🧁🧺 What more could you ask for?

We started our day with our friend Carlos, who talked with us about legacy recording. It sparked such a nostalgic feeling as residents reflected on their memories and the importance of preserving their stories for future generations.

Then in the afternoon, it was time for our Easter party fun! The festivities kicked off with a lively cupcake walk, where everyone had a chance to step, stop, and win one of the adorable treats. And let us tell you — those cupcakes were as cute as a bunny’s bum and just as delicious! 🧁🐰

We also shared our favorite Easter traditions, which brought out so many wonderful memories and stories. It was such a special and nostalgic moment hearing how everyone celebrated through the years. 💐

To top it all off, each of our residents received their very own Easter basket, bringing smiles all around. It was a beautiful day full of laughter, treats, and cherished memories together!

We are grateful for our friends at (our in-house therapists), Concierge Home Care and for sponsoring our baskets!

If you read our April calendar… APRIL FOOLS! 😆

There was no buttermilk in the building, no one was forced into a 5-mile hike, no homes were egged, and most importantly — no swimming (even with suits on!) 🏊‍♂️❌

But it was still a fun and eventful day!

Our morning started with some Easter Bunny giggles and wiggles 🐰 along with a great conversation about Easter traditions and memories. We also celebrated National Take a Walk Day with a little encouragement to get up, stretch our legs, and enjoy a nice stroll. 🚶‍♀️🌷

This afternoon, while eggs were definitely part of the activity, they were plastic! 🥚 Residents had a blast hunting for them and sharing lots of laughs along the way.

✨ Congratulations to the lucky resident who found the GOLDEN EGG! ✨

🐰🌷 We’re Hopping Into April! 🌷🐰

Our April calendars are out, and this month is packed with fun, laughter, and plenty of exciting activities for our residents! From music and games to special treats and outings, there’s something to look forward to all month long.

👀 Take a close look at April 1st on the calendar… it might be a day you’ll want to keep an eye on!

We’re also excited for a springtime outing to cheer on the Clearwater Threshers! Nothing beats a day at the ballpark—sunshine, great company, and the classic sounds of baseball. ⚾🌞

Spring is officially in the air, and we’re looking forward to another wonderful month of making memories together with our Lake House family. Stay tuned for all the fun ahead!

Happy National Spinach Day AND Thirsty Thursday… now THAT’S a combo worth celebrating! 🥬🍹💚

We kicked things off the right way this morning with some delicious, nutritious green shakes—and yes, they were packed with spinach! 💪✨

Who says healthy can’t be fun?! These shakes were the perfect mix of tasty and energizing, and our residents were all about it! 🙌

Starting the day strong, feeling good, and maybe even sneaking in a few extra veggies… we call that a win-win! 🥳

Today we proudly honored National Medal of Honor Day 🇺🇸

While we didn’t have a Medal of Honor recipient with us in person, we took time to recognize and celebrate the incredible bravery, sacrifice, and service of those who have earned our nation’s highest military honor.

Our day was filled with learning more about these heroes, watching an inspiring video highlighting Medal of Honor recipients, and raising our voices together during a patriotic sing-along 🎶

Of course, we also took time to recognize our very own heroes—our veterans, along with veteran spouses, parents, and siblings. We take every opportunity to honor and thank them for their service and the sacrifices made by their families ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to our friend Tanya at Encompass for the delicious festive goodies!

To top it all off, many of our residents showed their patriotic spirit by dressing in their best USA colors—what a beautiful sight to see! 🇺🇸

Today we remember, we honor, and we are grateful.

The day kicked off with a pre-lunch outing to Dunkin’ (because priorities ☕🍩), and then it was time to soak up those always amazing beachy vibes with Devon! 🌊🎶

We went ALL OUT to wrap up our 3-day celebration and WOW… what a day!!! 💚🎉

We kicked things off with hilarious Irish humor and stories that had everyone laughing from ear to ear 🍀😂

Our mischievous little leprechaun was STILL at it—keeping us guessing, searching, and on the move all day long! 👀🌈✨ Just when we thought we found him… he popped up somewhere new!

And then… the GRAND FINALE you’ve all been waiting for!!! 🎉💚
Shamrock shakes 🥤☘️, delicious cookies 🍪, and an absolutely AMAZING performance by the one and only Miss Shay!!! 💃🔥 She lit up the room with her talent AND gave us a fun and fascinating peek into the history of Irish dancing!

The energy, the laughter, the smiles… PURE MAGIC ✨☘️

What an unforgettable way to end THREE days of nonstop fun, festive spirit, and Irish cheer!!! 💚🍀
