I’ve been experiencing muscle loss due to lack of resistance training. I’m also working with some older adults and several clients out of the hospital from various injuries who have been lacking in strengthening exercises. Time to get some weights or bands in action, as without resistance we don’t continue to grow.. this is applicable physically as well as spiritually.

Age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) is a big problem, causing frailty and loss of mobility and potentially independence.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The good news is that this is NOT a foregone conclusion that we have to accept as part of the aging process.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Muscle loss can be REVERSED with exercise - especially with resistance training.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Building up some muscle mass when you're younger will help immensely too, as it is much easier to maintain what you've already built!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
