👨‍⚕️ Provider Spotlight: Dr. Rodrigo Alfaro

We’re proud to highlight Dr. Rodrigo Alfaro, one of our nephrologists at Kidney Consultants of New Mexico. Dr. Alfaro is bilingual in English and Spanish and has over 20 years of combined experience with KCNM, caring for patients across our community.

He works closely with patients to help manage kidney health and treat conditions such as chronic kidney disease, hypertension related to kidney health, electrolyte disorders, dialysis managment and other complex kidney conditions, always focusing on education and patient-centered care.

Training & Certification:

• Medical School – Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado, El Salvador
• Internal Medicine Residency – Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso
• Nephrology Fellowship – University of Louisville, Kentucky
