NMSU Pre-Health Professions Advising Guidance for those applying to graduate health programs (Med, Dental, Pharmacy, etc)

We provide academic advising for students who express interest in or plan to apply to a professional health school (including medical, dental, pharmacy or any other health profession) and have questions about the specific undergraduate coursework they need. In addition to academic advising, we provide Pre-Health students with mentoring and guidance on the formal application process, admissions req

uirements and financial planning related to medical, dental, pharmacy, chiropractic, physical therapy and other health oriented professional schools. We also guide students on medical school application preparation which includes (but is not limited to) portfolio development, job-shadowing opportunities, community service opportunities, personal statement and interviewing skills development.
