📢 Attention patients of B-Well Functional Medicine! 📢
We’ve noticed a shortage of primary care services in our area, making it difficult for many of you to find a P*P. While B-Well does not accept insurance, we understand the importance of having a dedicated P*P who knows you and can coordinate your healthcare needs.
Sheila Bardwell, DNP, would love to be your P*P. She will be available at Balanced Primary Care at 2930 Hillrise #6 starting this August on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays to provide all your basic medical needs covered by insurance. She will continue to see patients at B-Well in Mesilla as scheduled.
****B-Well in Mesilla will continue to perform its usual magic.
Services include annual physical exams, women’s screening exams (PAP, pelvic, breast) , contraception (IUDs, Nexplanon) and STI treatment, vaccinations (Flu, pneumonia, shingles, HPV), lab work, urgent problem visits (Flu, bladder infections, cough, cuts, sprains), chronic problem management (Asthma, Diabetes, high blood pressure), collaboration with specialists (cardiologists, GI, GYN), and more.
Annual checkups, preventive services, and cancer screenings are covered by insurance.
Remember, a primary care provider serves as the quarterback of your care team. They are your first point of contact and often the first to spot signs of chronic diseases and health concerns. Your P*P’s role is to ensure you receive the right care that aligns with your needs and values, including managing symptoms or making necessary referrals to specialists.
