Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Karah Tooley as we celebrate her transition into the role of Director of Clinical Services at Esperanza Children’s Therapy.
Karah has been part of our organization for nearly seven years and has spent the last three as a dedicated and inspiring Therapy Lead. A passionate Speech-Language Pathologist, Karah shares that the most rewarding part of her career has always been “the relationships—both with the children and families I have had the pleasure of working with.”
As she steps into this new leadership role, Karah is most excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful impact: “not just on the children and families we serve, but the clinical teams that support them.”
Originally from Truth or Consequences, NM, Karah brings with her the values of a close-knit community and strong connections. She earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University.
Karah’s leadership extends beyond the clinic. She coaches the NMSU Cheer team, participates in local leadership efforts in Las Cruces, and cherishes time with family and friends. Even off the clock, she’s still a leader—always making time for a good book and a great cup of coffee.
As Karah reflects on her journey, she shares: “Ultimately, it’s the combination of children, and families, and the people I’ve worked with that have inspired me to keep growing—not just as a clinician, but as someone who wants to help a supportive, high-impact clinic culture.”
Karah, we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you. We’re proud to celebrate you as you begin your new journey as Director of Clinical Services!💜
