Do you ever wonder why some people wear rubber bands on their braces between jaws?

These rubber bands - or elastics - are designed to align the jaws as a whole, as opposed to individual teeth. They pull the mandible forward or backward, further improving bite alignment.

Invisalign Tip: Keep the packaging.

Hang on to the pouches your trays ship in. It's a good idea to keep a few sets back in case of loss or damage to a current set, and storing them in their original packaging will keep them safe and organized!
