For the past eight years, I have been very fortunate to practice in Las Cruces as a nurse practitioner. I dearly appreciate all my patients and the ability to have provided primary care services to you. It is bittersweet that I write this post to inform you that I will be transferring my clinic to a trusted local practice and team of providers. I will be furthering my medical career in 2022 by pursing the degree of Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech, Paul L. Foster School of Medicine in El Paso, TX.

In order to help smoothly transition your care to the provider of your choice, I will continue to provide services to my patients until December 13, 2021. ELITE PRIMARY CARE will be taking over my practice and can meet your future primary care needs. Right around the corner from my office on Don Roser, ELITE PRIMARY CARE has several qualified female and male providers offering a range of services including inpatient and outpatient care. I believe this group is a great option as they too are committed to compassionate, quality, and individualized healthcare services.

We will be available to transfer medical records with a signed release form to the provider of your choice upon request. Please schedule a new patient appointment with the provider of your choosing as soon as possible to ensure that there is no gap in the transition of your care. Do not hesitate to schedule with my office to update your healthcare needs prior to December, 2021. It has been a great privilege being your provider. Thank you for trusting me with your care!

Sincerely,
Katherine Emerick, CNP

Colorectal cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in the US. NEW guidelines recommend screening for colorectal cancer beginning at age 45.

The American Cancer Society believes that preventing colorectal cancer (and not just finding it early) should be a major reason for getting tested. Learn more here.
