The day after Thanksgiving can come with a lot of mixed messages: “get back on track,” “make up for yesterday,” or “be good today.” At Nutrition Aligned, we want to offer a different perspective. Today isn’t about compensating or correcting. It’s simply another opportunity to listen to your body and support it in ways that feel good to you.

You might feel hungry, or you might not. You might want something fresh and light, or you might be excited for leftovers. All of those experiences are normal. Tuning into how your body feels today, not what you think you “should” feel, is where true alignment begins.

Gentle choices add up: staying hydrated, adding color or protein to leftovers, getting some fresh air, or slowing down and resting if that’s what you need.
These aren’t punishments or rules, they’re supportive habits that help you feel grounded after a busy holiday.
