Quality of the Day: Acceptance
Affirmation: I am Acceptance.
This morning, as I worked through the i’MAGiNT LiFE method and sipped my i’MAGiNT water, I arrived at the word acceptance and with it, a wave of emotion rose to the surface.
From somewhere deep in my being, a memory emerged: Those difficult years after my divorce in 2018 when I was a single mom doing everything I could to provide. The worry, the scarcity, the shame of not always having enough food in the fridge, the fear of not being “good enough.” I carried it all quietly, trying to be strong.
But today, I paused and met that part of me with tenderness.
At this moment, I said the Ho’oponopono prayer:
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
I let it wash through me.
I asked for forgiveness, not from others, but from myself.
Forgiveness for judging myself as a parent.
Forgiveness for the times I didn’t have the financial means to provide all the things I felt my family deserved.
Forgiveness for being so hard on myself, when in truth, I did the best I could with what I had.
This is the heart of acceptance: making peace with the past, with who we were, and holding space for who we are now. Today, I chose to lay down that old guilt and offer myself grace.
The Blueprint Mastery Journal gives me a safe space to revisit and rewrite these inner stories. To reclaim my worth. To remember that love, not perfection, is what my children needed most. And I gave them that in abundance.
