A Big Thank You to B and B Mobile Pet Salon!
Today, B and B Mobile Pet Salon stepped up in a big way to help a fellow Las Vegas resident who had rescued several dogs from being taken to the pound. When our Volunteer Coordinator reached out seeking someone willing to donate nail trimming services, B and B didn’t hesitate—they showed up and provided excellent care for the pups, reassuring our friend that they'd be back to help again.

This is what Harmony Hospice is all about—being there in a moment of need and going the extra mile, not just for our patients, but for anyone we meet along the way who could use a helping hand.

Joe and Maggie from Harmony Hospice had the opportunity to attend a wonderful Night of Philanthropy this past Friday at the Echelon Event Center, hosted by East Valley Family Services. The evening featured wine tasting and delicious charcuterie, generously sponsored by The CAST and Masterpiece Cuisine.

We’re honored to support East Valley’s Golden Grocery Program and their incredible clients. Giving back and showing up for our community is a core part of Harmony Hospice’s culture.

Another Harmony Hospice full circle moment to share:
Recently, a family who had lost their loved one under the care of Harmony Hospice reached out with a heartfelt desire to give back. In honor of the compassionate care their loved one received, they wanted to do something meaningful for someone else.

As it happened, we knew just the person—a woman we had supported in the past who was in need of some extra help. This family generously delivered pet food and groceries to her, turning their grief into an act of kindness.

It’s moments like this that remind us why we do what we do. These gestures not only honor a life lost but also uplift the lives of others and strengthen the community we love—right here in Las Vegas.

From all of us at Harmony Hospice, thank you for continuing to spread compassion, even in the midst of loss.

Last week, we came together for a special All Staff meeting at Harmony Hospice—filled with great food, frozen treats, fun games, and prizes! 🎉

It was more than just a meeting—it was a chance to pause, connect, and recognize the incredible dedication of our entire team. Every staff member plays a vital role in providing compassionate care to our patients and their families, and we’re grateful for each and every one of you.

Last week, I had the honor of attending a beautiful Celebration of Life alongside Jessica, one of our RN Case Managers, and Chris, one of our dedicated volunteers. We gathered to remember a beloved patient who had touched so many lives—including several of our Harmony Hospice volunteers who had developed strong and lasting friendships with her.

It was deeply meaningful to stand with her family and friends, sharing stories of the relationship we built through her hospice journey. Hearing how she impacted others, and being able to reflect on how she impacted us, brought everything full circle.

Hospice is about more than end-of-life care—it’s about connection, dignity, and presence. We are grateful to have walked this journey with her and thankful to the family for allowing us to continue honoring her legacy.

June 27th is National PTSD Awareness Day

At Harmony Hospice, we honor and stand with those affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder—whether veterans, survivors, first responders, or anyone who has experienced trauma.

PTSD is often an invisible struggle, but awareness leads to understanding, compassion, and healing. Today, and every day, we encourage our community to learn more, listen without judgment, and support those living with PTSD.

Our wonderful Harmony Hospice volunteers recently joined Desert View Senior Living, for a special day of giving manicures to the residents. It was a joyful experience for everyone involved and a great opportunity for our volunteers to come together, connect, and make a meaningful impact.

We’re always proud to support our partners not only in caring for our patients, but in bringing kindness and connection to the greater Desert View community.

In celebration of CNA Week, our Harmony Hospice CNA team took part in a fun and challenging game—unwrapping a giant ball of saran wrap filled with surprises… all while wearing gloves! This lighthearted activity brought laughter, teamwork, and a well-deserved break to those who give so much of themselves every day.

We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated CNAs who provide compassionate care, support, and comfort to our patients and families. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we appreciate everything you do to uphold the heart of hospice care.
