We are looking for kind and dedicated Direct Support Staff and Caregivers that will provide safe and compassionate care for Developmentally Disabled individuals. We are looking for individuals who can work part-time or full-time. We have day and night shifts.

Responsibilities:

-Provides direct support to clients (activities of daily living assistance, medication assistance, treatment assistance, and other types of assistance)

-Provides companionship to clients by engaging in meaningful interaction and partaking in worthwhile activities

-Maintains the cleanliness and safeness of the facility

-Communicate and coordinate with supervisor and co-workers regarding client health, client psychosocial status, staff performance, safety concerns, care provision, and other concerns

- Documents and reports routine and unusual events

-Assist in implementation and evaluation of client support plans

Qualifications

-High school graduate or equivalent.

-Must be 18 years of age, or older

-Must have a clean background. Must be able to clear background, fingerprint, and criminal record checks

-Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

-Must be able to perform physical activities that require bending, lifting, and standing for an extended period of time

-Must have current CPR certificate or submit one shortly after hire

-Must be able to complete trainings and pass post-training examinations

A current Nevada nursing license (Licensed Practical Nurse) LPN
Completed an accredited licensed nursing program and passed all required tests of competency

Valid Nevada State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for military and their dependents, the driver's license is valid while on duty. See http://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/renew.html for more information

Ability to pass a criminal background check with the State of Nevada
Able to lift up to fifty pounds
Provide proof of current BLS CPR
