We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! πŸŽ„

It's been a great and busy month at home, at the office, and in life but with God first, my heart is always still and full. No one and nothing shall shake my peace or my joy. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’šπŸŒŸ

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Hiii! 🌍 It has been quite a while!

In prioritizing and balancing all things life, I haven't been able to update my business social media pages or share any of the wonderful reviews or progress my clients have made, but I just want to say that I am here although less on social media these days!

But I am sooo grateful for those who have found me and continue to find me and for those who have been referred locally or from across the U.S.

There is so muchhhh gratitude in my heart.

And once I get the time, I'll be catching up and sharing alllll the good stuff and life changing transformations for those under my care at Mindfully Align Physio. Look outttt!

All my love in the meantime! 😘

Here is a photo of my oldest cub's little creations. She loves hearts! And I love how she made this with her little hands and with all of her big heart. πŸ’š

Self-Treatment

Two boxes of my self-treatment MFR balls got delivered today!

These are for each of my clients who I love and appreciate so much.

The gift of knowing the many ways of self-treating and understanding the importance of mind-body awareness are essential to our most optimal health.

Our bodies are not meant to be compartmentalized. We are interconnected, whole beings through our hydrated, web-like fascial system which exists from head to toe.

These treatment balls are useful in so many ways and for soo many things. Gentle sustained holds in various areas of your body help to open up myofascial restrictions that can contribute to pain caused by imbalances throughout the body, specifically stemming from the pelvis which is the body's foundation.

I am so excited to provide these to my clients and to equip them with their own set of knowledge and tools for just one of many, many forms of gentle self-care.

Special Announcement!

My telehealth sessions continue to be powerful and transformative for many in mind, body, and spirit, and I will still continue to offer virtual care as part of my services.

It is humbling to know that even through such a method of delivery that very deep changes can be made when applying MFR principles in addition to other holistic forms of care. Offering the knowledge, education, guidance, and energy to hold space for others even though "distantly" has allowed my clients to feel held and supported every step of the way, producing effective results desired.

This month I have decided to resume treating in person and have already begun to see my clients for hands-on sessions.

I would like to formally announce that I am now booking my hands-on mobile concierge treatment!

My in-person sessions have been really beautiful whether they have been outdoors under the sky, within my clients' homes, offices, or gyms. The mind/body results achieved within a single session alone have been very profound and effective from many shared accounts.

I have some before and after postural transformations and experiences to share with permission (coming soon!)

I am grateful for this work and for every being that has entrusted me with assisting to facilitate growth and healing on many different levels.

I am just a vessel in assisting others. The true power and transformation comes from within with just the right amount of awareness, guidance, and understanding of your own structural and energetic bodies and its capabilities.

Thank you to my clients who continue to value their health and this work and to everyone who has continued to support me on this path to being present for others.

There is so much THANKSGIVING in my heart. πŸ€²πŸ’šβœ¨

✨ What Lights You Up ✨

When I call to mind who and what I am grateful for this week, it really lights me up. One of the things I am grateful for is the completion of my one month Ayurvedic Lunar Fast, which I have learned so much from on many levels.

This week I have also reflected on the balance of giving and receiving. I am a giver at heart. My life revolves around service, education, and taking care of others, including my family which is like having multiple full time duties. But I am also learning to receive gracefully, from both myself and others. I am learning that it is really okay to receive all of the love that I put out there in order to fill my tank, too.

January has been an enlightening and powerful month. I hope that each one of you has also been finding or discovering all that feeds and nourishes your minds, bodies, and hearts in whatever big or small ways that may be.

🌱Sprouts, Food, & Mindfulness

The practice of cultivating your own sprouts is said to be very healing for the mind and body in Ayurvedic practices. I recently learned how to grow my own sprouts during my Ayurvedic Lunar Fast, which I used to make a very nourishing sprouts soup.

Aside from just being our fuel, food can be part of a very special way to nourish our minds and hearts, too, especially with mindful practices like silently being thankful for, blessing, or praying over your food (if that is what you are open to, of course).

It has been scientifically proven that prayer changes frequencies. Food is a form of frequency.

Studies have shown how prayer affects electrons and even things down into molecular and cellular levels. Giving thanks, expressing gratitude and blessing food is known to be an ancient energy technique, as well.

Before I eat and as I cook for my family, I say a prayer of gratitude and ask that the food before us be infused with love, nourishment, joy, and high vibrational energies. I also think about and ask that those who've grown, handled, or delivered our goods also be blessed. More recently, I have been infusing our food with Reiki energy to amplify the power and love in our food, as well. I can personally say that I do feel that it makes a difference in my energy and consciousness in many ways.

I hope that this inspires even a small ounce of awareness and even a simple and silent "Thank You" for what goes into your bodies as we recall that EVERYTHING is energy.

And on a metaphorical level, I feel that the photo of my sprouts is significant for how many of us over the last year have grown and expanded in ways that have brought us closer to our highest, most authentic selves. To me, these parallels are quite powerful. 🌱🌱🌱✨

The Force πŸ’š

It's been a while! But I'm still here!

As a physical therapist, I help others get to the root causes of issues and help them return to to their daily function or doing what they love, pain-free and with more awareness and presence. This often gets people feeling more like "themselves" again.

It is just as important for me, as the human that I am, to be aligned with my best and highest self.

I have spent time re-organizing the space around me to move and clear energy. And I have taken the past few weeks to do some extra self-nurturing and balancing for optimal life/family care, digging deeper into my own FORCES within.

Social media may be a space where you need much decompression from, but it is also a space where you find many of your special connections. Prioritizing and finding that happy medium is important to me.

The social media realm is a place where I show my support for others -- for peoples' businesses, for their beautiful photos, or for their funny or inspiring content.

But it is always, always important to show up in support of yourself and for your own needs -- in whatever way that may be. Stepping back and and taking needed breaks is one of many.

Pure presence and even higher levels of awareness for the needs in your own everyday life can be very profound and transformational, and it can help us remain rooted in our divine powers.

I'll be sharing extra insight about what I have been up to for some deep-diving self-care sometime during the week.

I hope everyone had a beautiful holiday season and I wish everyone a happy, fulfilling, healthful and joyful 2021!

May everyone embrace and further cultivate their inner Forces and Powers to navigate through today's world.

I look forward to catching up with everyone!

Coming Back to YOU

Our true nature is Lighthearted and Joyful.

When we forget when and how to come back to ourselves, it is easy to remain caught up in the repeated worry or stressors of life. This can begin to feel so "normal" that it is accepted as such. It then becomes chronic worry and stress.

Stress may be inevitable. Worry is also a challenging thing to conquer these days. But it is essential to understand that our RESPONSES to these things can either enhance or take a toll on our immune systems and affect our heart and blood vessels and how the glands in our body secrete hormones.

With Awareness and Choice we are so much more capable and powerful than we give ourselves credit for. We can either choose to be Reactive by responding with more worry and stress leading to more upset and havoc -- or choose to be Proactive and neutral by using the power of Awareness and Choice to respond in ways that are more healthful and self-loving.

What Does Worrying Accomplish?

I'll be sharing more about the physical side effects of chronic worry and stress in an upcoming post.

But this is a gentle reminder that we do not have to know all the answers or have everything figured out in this very moment.

Worrying is a challenging thing to overcome. But it comes down to Awareness and Choice. We can first be aware of the worry. And with that awareness, we can choose to worry or choose to trust.

To trust the process. To trust that all will work out for our greatest good. To know that we have had a history of pulling through in our seemingly lowest of moments and to trust that we will do it again. And (if you believe in a higher power), it involves the trust that we are always supported and guided, even in the moments when we have no idea how or when things will get done.

Things always get done. And we always end up being okay. And oftentimes more than okay.

Our obvious support systems also include our trusted circle of friends, family, mentors, or licensed professionals like mental health therapists readily available out there. And we can't forget our pets!

This week, I took my dog for a much needed hike. In that moment of needing to get away and take a break, he was such an amazing form of support for me and always has been. In speaking for myself just as a parent alone, our roles are endless. And sometimes there aren't enough hours in a day. But we always end up being okay. And again, often more than okay.

May you find the encouragement to choose trust over worry as worry does far too much harm to the body than good, which we will touch on soon.

Worrying also never solved a single thing.
