⭐️ Clinician Shoutout ⭐️

Gianni Terrana, PT, DPT has been a physical therapist for nearly two years and began her career in pediatric physical therapy at Silver State Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility. While pediatrics has always been her primary passion, she also has strong interests in neurorehabilitation, physical therapy education, research, and dry needling.

Over the past year, Gianni has served as a mentor for a UNLV physical therapy service-learning project and has worked as a clinical instructor. She is also an active member of AMBUCS, a nonprofit community service organization dedicated to enhancing mobility and independence through adaptive tricycles. Through this work, she helped bring an adaptive tricycle to her facility for one of the residents, who has since made meaningful strides in her recovery. Gianni is continually seeking innovative interventions to better support her patients.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include line dancing, snowboarding, off-roading in a UTV, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her miniature dachshund.
