Birth is powerful — and it’s also honest.

Often it tells us everything is unfolding beautifully. However, sometimes trust looks like patience and other times it looks like action.

Using life-saving tools when they are needed is not fear, failure, or a lack of trust. It’s wisdom.

Transport rates are not a scorecard.
They don’t measure patience, discernment, or ethical decision making.

True trust in birth means listening; even when listening leads us somewhere unexpected.

Closing out this year with deep gratitude.
For the women who trusted me, the babies who arrived in their own perfect timing, and the lessons that stretched me.

I am continually humbled by this work and by God’s faithfulness in every birth, every decision, and every quiet moment in between.

As this year ends, I’m stepping forward with reverence; for this calling, for the families I serve, and for the path God continues to lay before me.

What a beautifully busy month it was — full of late-night calls, long birth days, sweet first cries, and families stepping into a brand-new chapter.

We’re so honored to walk alongside the women and families who trusted us with their births this month. November, you were full of strength, tenderness, and the sweetest new beginnings. 🤍🍂

Here’s to every mama who dug deep, every baby who made their debut, and every moment that reminded me why this work is such a gift.
