The Center for Connection is a premier child, teen, and family mental health co-op in Las Vegas, Nev

The Center for Connection is a realization of a 20-year dream of Janet Nordine, MS, LMFT, RPT-S of Experience Courage Therapy and Las Vegas Play Therapy to bring together a caring and compassionate group of professionals to focus on the mental health of children and teens, as well as their families in Clark County, NV using compassion, care, and with an understanding of the unique needs of those
under 18. Janet Nordine and her business partner, Shannon Crème, LCPC, opened the doors to The Center for Connection with a soft opening for clients on May 1, 2022. Shannon and Janet met due to their shared love for and belief in Play Therapy, as it is a Child's language. Together, they have opened this unique center that
caters to Psychotherapy for the Whole Family. As members of the Association for Play Therapy (APT) https://www.a4pt.org/ Janet and Shannon have begun to build a group of therapists and therapist interns committed to the growth of Play Therapy in the Las Vegas Valley.

The Center for Connection was able to donate over 200 pairs of socks to the children on Child Haven Campus and children who are experiencing foster care. Many deep feelings of gratitude to our community partners and friends for helping us reach this goal.

The foundation of everything that happens within the walls of The Center for Connection is based in finding Connection with Self, Family and seeing the preciousness in each person, big or small, who enters our space. Our foundation was built in Love and Friendship. We have lots of little love reminders around the office. We hope you see and feel just how loved you are today on Valentine's Day and all days.

It was so much fun to host 15 participants for Level I Theraplay training for International Play Therapy Week!! Theraplay is such a wonderful way to help build Connection with children and their caregivers.

They had a great time, too!!
