Hi, I’m Alex! I’m here to educate, support, and empower you to get the birth you want! Growing up I only ever wanted to be a mom.

I'm a certified birth doula, currently residing in Las Vegas, NV with my husband and two children. In my spare time I love to read, explore the outdoors, clean (lol), and go on walks. I was enamored by labor + delivery and loved playing house. After my second birth at a birth center and learning about the world of birth with natural support, I was amazed by the experience I had. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in helping others have a similar experience.

Hiii friends! Long time no see. I’ve been in hiding 🙈 or better said, I have been adjusting to all the changes in my life. Last year I got pregnant and moved back to Vegas, then early this year we welcomed our third child to the world and recently I got a new job! Needless to say, it’s been a lot! But, I am feeling super blessed and really starting to feel the tug on my heart to start to dip my toes back in the birth world. I don’t know to what capacity that looks like, but I’ve got my eyes set on a few things. #1 I want to pursue becoming a childbirth educator. I love birth! And I love helping people! I want to be a resource and a safe place for people. #2 being a doula is hard work, and having littles at home with me & no childcare makes that pathway challenging. I will likely only leave that door open for friends/family moving forward. #3 I would love to eventually start providing birth classes! Online or in-person. This is all mostly pending, but can’t a girl dream a little?! I’ll keep y’all updated.
In the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you need resources and/or have questions. It makes my whole day when someone reaches out to me & has a question about pregnancy/birth/postpartum. ❤️😇

I’ve been super quiet on here lately… but we are expecting baby #3 in February 2024 🥰

because of this, I will not be accepting in-person clients until summer of 2024 🫶🏻

Doulas are not saviors and cannot ensure that you’ll get the picture perfect birth.

So, what do doulas do then?

Doulas provide emotional, informational, and physical support. They are there to ensure you are heard, comforted, and educated.
They are available to advocate that your choices are being heard, but cannot decide for you.
They are there to educate you on what to expect, provide evidence based information, but never to give opinions (unless asked).
They are there when you need someone to help you into another position, help you relax, encourage you, make sure you know your options, but never to force you to do anything.

The expectation that a doula can ensure your experience is perfect or a dream is NOT an accurate expectation.

The belief that a doula can assist you with comfort measures, emotional support, and to help teach you about labor and birth IS!

Doulas are assets and tools! You won’t regret hiring one

It’s wild to me how often women have to be told to trust their instincts. Yes, we are human and fallible, but let’s rejoice in knowing that God created our bodies to bring forth life. It knows exactly what to do in pregnancy and your birth, and will lead you into one of the most natural and beautiful moments that you will never forget.

Lets let go of control and trust in the process together 🪴

Meet your doula 🌵

Hello, my name is Alex! I am a certified doula in Arlington, WA, part of the greater Seattle area.

I am a wife + mom of 2! I’m from Las Vegas, NV originally and love visiting often! You can find me at church with a coffee and baby in hand, reading, or baking my life away. Growing up I never knew what I wanted to be, but I consistently found myself seeking to serve my community by teaching + creating a pathway for others to achieve their goals. During my pregnancy with my son, I realized just how much I loved the world of natural care and how much about the pregnancy and birth process isn’t talked about. After the birth of my daughter in a birth center, I knew I wanted to start pursuing becoming a birth doula.

My love for education + my personal birth experiences have given me a fiery passion to advocate, serve, + provide natural care to expecting parents in their own birth journey. I want to educate, encourage, and empower you to get the birth you want!
