I just had a CNO of a corporate group say that because CMS has stated pressure is ONLY over a bony prominence any pressures that are designated that are for example over the ear or from medical devices now need to be changed to trauma.

CMS is increasing oversight of wound care billing and provider qualifications, making credible, accredited credentials essential. Vendor-tied or brief online certificates fail legal and audit standards, putting clinicians and facilities at risk.
