Per diem CNA/HHA.
Our mission is to provide physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to terminally ill patients, as well as, their families and loved ones, while assisting patients and families to live with dignity and comfort as they cope with end of life issues.
Seeking certified Hospice Aide to provide personal care services to home hospice patients, under the direction of a licensed RN.
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate from approved training and competency course.
- Ability to work independently and possess Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, their families and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patient/families both verbally and written
- Acceptance of and adaptability to different social, racial, cultural, and religious modes.
- Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress.
- Maintains visit frequencies as indicated in the Plan of Care
- Assist with personal care of patient, i.e. bathing, feeding, bed making, mouth care, vital signs and transferring
- Keep Clinical Coordinator/Nurse Case Manager informed of condition of patient/family.
- Must have current CPR
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Home health or hospice experience preferred. New RNs encouraged to apply. New CNA/HHAs encouraged to apply.
