Lab milk’s health benefits
Lactose-free
Lactose is a sugar which is extracted from mammals only in milk.
To digest it, your body requires a particular enzyme called lactase, but some people stop producing lactase as they age, and thus become intolerant to lactose.
There are some ethnic groups which produce less lactase.
When anyone ingests dairy with this condition they may experience stomach pain, bloating, diarrhea, and gas.
Interestingly, in place of lactose, lab milk uses plant sugars to develop the carb content of the milk.
Thus lab milk is suitable for people with lactose intolerance, much like plant milk.
Nonetheless, since it contains casein, it is likely unsafe to cow's milk protein for people with an allergy.
