🚨 UPCOMING VACCINE CLINIC 🚨

Don't be sick this season! This Saturday, December 14th ACDC will host a FREE COVID-19 and Flu shot clinic at Mater Academy East Las Vegas starting at 9AM.

In collaboration with the Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada, there will also be a food distribution event feeding 500 families on a first-come, first serve basis.

We are grateful to United Way for their recognition and support of the Healthy Asians & Pacific Islanders Medical Center, allowing us to persist in our commitment to offer healthcare that is accessible to everyone.

Today is World TB Day, aimed at increasing awareness of a disease currently affecting 10 million people globally. The Asian community is disproportionately impacted by TB, more so than any other racial and ethnic minority groups.

To prevent the spread of this disease, consider the following three measures:

1. Ensure proper ventilation
2. Allow ample natural sunlight
3. Maintain high standards of hygiene

One year ago today, 8/8/2022, we opened the HAPI Medical Center with the goal of serving Las Vegas' Asian and Pacific Islander community. We are proud to say we've helped many patients here at the HAPI Medical Center using the language they are most comfortable in. We will continue serving our community and working hard to make sure that language is never a barrier.

Thank you Senator Catherine Cortez Masto for visiting us today! Our HAPI Medical Center provides critical services to our communities so it was great to hear about her efforts to make health care more accessible for everyone in our communities, especially since 81% of our AAPI community in Nevada is underinsured or uninsured.

It was wonderful to be able to serve over 80 members of our community for free this past weekend at our first Free Health Clinic! We were able to offer vaccinations, eye check ups, medical exams, teeth cleaning for children, information about tuberculosis and Hepatitis B, and more! Please stay tuned for our upcoming events.

HAPI had a great time meeting and serving the community at the Asian Community Development Council's Lunar New Year food distribution and drive-thru COVID-19/flu vaccination event this past weekend! Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for your hard work!

"Say Boo to the Flu" at our upcoming vaccine clinic this Saturday from 10am-1pm! Free flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines (including the new Bivalent booster) will be available, as well as pediatric COVID-19 doses (ages 3 and up). Don't forget to come dressed in your Halloween costumes!

Scare away that flu (and COVID-19!) with our upcoming "Say Boo to the Flu" vaccine clinic! It takes place this Saturday from 10am-1pm at HAPI Medical Center (8863 W Flamingo Rd. Suite 101, Las Vegas, NV 89147). Free flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines (including the new Bivalent booster) will be available, as well as pediatric COVID-19 doses (ages 3 and up).
