As Alzheimer’s or Dementia progresses into its late stages, many individuals become bedridden or chair-bound. This limited mobility can lead to serious complications like pressure sores, joint stiffness, and skin breakdown.

Caregivers play a critical role in protecting comfort and dignity during this time. Repositioning every two hours, keeping the skin clean and dry, using pillows for support, and performing gentle range-of-motion exercises (with medical guidance) can help maintain health and prevent further decline.
