Beautiful service!

THANKS TO KVVU-TV FOX5’s Evan Leake and his videographer for spending the evening at Congregation Ner Tamid, on Tuesday, October 14, to cover our Simchat Torah Service and Celebration and special Hostage Release ceremony. The FOX news affiliate featured “Henderson Synagogue Hosts Celebration In Honor Of Release Of Hamas Hostages,” in its 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. newscasts that included interviews with CNT’s Rabbi-Cantor Jessica Hutchings, CNT’s Resident Rabbinic Scholar Rabbi Cookie Lea Olshein, and Temple Member Orly Graves.

Although the Lakers performed to a high degree, since the All-Star break, they just did not have enough to stop a tornado of a team in the Denver Nuggets. The Denver Nuggets are playing together like I have not seen in years from any NBA team. I’m picking them over the Miami Heat if that becomes the NBA finals matchup.

Those who secure sponsorships in November will have the opportunity to inscribe one of the remaining letters with a scribe on Monday, December 5. The final letters will be inscribed on Tu BiShvat, Sunday, February 5, 2023.
