We at Change Matrix along with our network partners provide process support and content to heath and mental health systems at federal state and local levels to collaborate more effectively, lead in complex systems, address and eliminate disparities and implement a public health approach to mental health systems.

Congratulations to our founding partner Rachele C. Espiritu, PhD on her new role as Director of the Office of Behavioral Health Equity (OBHE) at SAMHSA. With her deep knowledge of the evaluation field, Rachele co-founded Change Matrix 17 years ago alongside Suganya Sockalingam, PhD, and Elizabeth Waetzig, JD. Together, their visionary leadership has propelled our mission to motivate, manage, and measure change, supporting communities and systems to improve lives in programs across the country.
We thank Rachele for her invaluable leadership at Change Matrix. She tripled its capacity and led numerous projects as a trailblazer in culturally responsive and equitable evaluation. While we will miss Rachele and her thoughtfulness as leader and member of our team, we are excited to continue our work with SAMHSA as a partner in advancing equity in mental and behavioral health services.
