this article about the destructiveness of fat shaming relates to street medicine because being fat can mean medical abuse and medical trauma. so then that person who's been harmed might avoid clinics and doctors, and have untreated issues that street medics encounter, while we care for those who have slipped thru the cracks.

please see the destructiveness of fat shaming. respect is basic, and fat shaming doesn't even do what it's supposedly intended to do. let's help create a world without fat shaming, for the well-being of all.
