Add coherence to your pranayama practice by actively engaging your mind in positive thoughts during pranayama. Try this:

Allow your eyes to soften or close.
Observe your breath for several rounds, breath through your nose, & visualize your breath coming from your heart.
Breathe to an even count.
Call to mind something that brings you joy & connect to images, sensations, smells, sounds, & taste.
Stay with this for 1-5 minutes.

Coherence produces calm, energized, and focused state.
