Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires proficiency in operating various types of trucks, including flatbed, roll-off, tanker, dump truck, and tractor-trailer.

Responsibilities

Safely operate assigned vehicles
Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and company procedures as needed.
Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated (e.g., flatbed, tanker).
Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
Experience with load unloading procedures and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
A commitment to maintaining a clean driving record and passing regular drug screenings as required by company policy.
