NEW CARSEAT LAW NEVADA!

Assembly Bill 118 requires children to remain rear-facing in their car seat until they are at least two years old, based on recommendations from industry safety professionals.

The bill additionally requires that all children ride in a booster seat or harnessed car seat until they are at least six years old or 57 inches (4 feet 9 inches)
tall.

Nevada's child car seat requirements are changing on Jan. 1, 2022 with the adoption of Assembly Bill 118. The new law removes a previous weight requirement and replaces it with a height requirement, among other changes.
