Meet Sable — the very good girl who got herself into a little trouble.

She came in with a bone stuck around her jaw and two very worried parents by her side. The best part? Sable was so calm and cooperative that our team was able to remove it without sedation.

A quick fix, a big sigh of relief from her family, and Sable went home feeling much better.

10/10 patient. Would help and love on again! Great job, Miss Sable! 🐾

A tiny pile of kittens and a really good ending. 🧡

Churro, a 1-year-old newly adopted cat, surprised her family when they discovered she was pregnant. They committed to caring for her and helping her safely bring her babies into the world.

Churro delivered two kittens at home — one survived and one sadly passed — but when labor didn’t progress she was brought to our ER.

Our team performed a C-section, delivering three more kittens and safely rounding out this little family.

Mom is doing great and all four surviving kittens are thriving.

Huge credit to Churro’s family for stepping up for her and her babies, and to our ER, surgery, and anesthesia teams for helping bring this little crew safely into the world. 🧡

Happy World Wildlife Day!

Meet GREG — a Great Egret currently recovering with the help of the licensed wildlife rehabilitators at Rehab Lab of Southern Nevada.

Wildlife patients are assigned alpha codes (instead of names) for official rehab tracking. When GREG arrived with a fracture, X-rays showed the cause: three BB pellets. One was removed (pictured).

The best update? He’s eating nonstop and gaining weight, which is exactly what we want to see.
Fun fact: Great Egrets helped inspire the creation of the Audubon Society and are still one of its iconic birds today.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to support wildlife rehabbers and the incredible work they do for our local wildlife.

We had an absolute blast at Paws at the Peak yesterday 🐾☀️

From familiar faces to brand new friends, it was such a joy meeting current, prior, and future patients — including sweet Bodie (mega E warrior and total heart-stealer 💛). There’s nothing better than seeing our patients out in the sunshine, thriving, and surrounded by people who love them fiercely.

Thank you for stopping by, sharing your stories, and letting us be part of your pets’ lives. We love this community and are so proud to serve it. 🐶🐾

Not embarrassed to admit our most popular attendee at WVC had three legs.

Grateful for the connections, conversations, and reminder that vet med is a small but mighty world! 🐾

Ricky came to his family as a stray with bite wounds. Now he’s healing well, safe, loved, and living his best pig life. 🐷✨

Second chances never get old.

PSA: Bringing in a non-cat/dog family member? Give us a call first so we can confirm doctor availability.

Yesterday on our stories we gave you a little sneak peek of Shadow… today we’re honored to share more.

Shadow recently experienced an unimaginable loss after his dad unexpectedly passed away following surgery. Now cared for by nurse Ashly, Shadow has found a gentle way to keep giving — becoming a blood donor for pets in need.

This certified good boy stepped up to help another dog after surgery when blood was urgently needed, and we couldn’t be prouder of him.

Help us show Shadow some love for the brave, kind-hearted soul he is. ❤️🐾

One of the best parts of what we do? Helping build the future of veterinary medicine.

Jared, a student in College of Southern Nevada Veterinary Nursing program, is completing his externship with our team — gaining experience and building clinical confidence.

We’re proud to support our local colleges and invest in the next generation of skilled, compassionate professionals. 🐾💙 As part of this support, all education is performed under the direct supervision of our credentialed medical team.

Sadie understood the assignment. 🩸🐾

She came in, rolled up a paw, and donated blood to help a dog who needed it after surgery.

Just a very good girl doing a very big thing. We love you, Sadie! 💛
