Coughs are common in children, especially during seasonal changes, and can make nights restless for both kids and parents.

Studies have shown that giving 1–2 teaspoons of honey before bedtime can reduce the frequency and severity of coughing, helping children sleep better at night.

While honey is safe for children over 1 year old, but should never be given to infants under 12 months due to the risk of botulism.

👩‍⚕️ Meet Dr. Natasa Mihic!
Dr. Mihic is a board-certified pediatrician and proud fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics who has been caring for families in our community for over 15 years. 🌟

Her journey started right here in Las Vegas, earning her Biological Sciences degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from UNLV, followed by her MD from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson and has since been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for children of all ages. 💙

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mihic has served as adjunct faculty at Touro University and worked alongside Family Residents from the Valley Health System—sharing her knowledge and passion for pediatrics with the next generation of providers.

Outside the office, she loves traveling and spending time with her family. ✈️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We’re so excited for you to meet Dr. Mihic and experience her commitment to helping kids grow up healthy and happy! 💫
