A retrospective study in the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, led by Prof. Francesco Zingari and Prof. Francesco Gallo (Istituto Stomatologico Italiano, Milan) with Prof. Giudice Amerigo, evaluated 100 zygomatic implants placed using a fully digital guided protocol.
✨ Results:
* 100% survival rate at 6 months with immediate loading
* Mean malar bone engagement: 12.38 ± 3.53 mm
* Anterior and single implants showed greater engagement than posterior

Some cases challenge every skill you have—and touch your heart in the process.

This patient had endured years of patchwork dentistry, serious health setbacks, and a deep phobia of the dentist. Despite higher surgical risks due to her bisphosphonate history and severe osteoporosis, Dr. Alexander Nguyen and his team chose her as their annual charity full-arch patient—because sometimes, the story matters as much as the case.
