🍰👩‍🍳 Cooking & Connections at Oakmont of the Lakes 👩‍🍳🍰

Join us this Thursday, January 22 at 1:30 PM for Cooking & Connections in the Activity Room! This fun cooking class brings residents together to create yummy snacks while enjoying great conversation.

We’ll be making cake balls, and each resident will get to make their own individual treat. Come mix, roll, taste, and connect with friends while enjoying something sweet!

We’re currently reading The Maid, a gripping thriller about a woman working as a maid in a luxury hotel who stumbles upon a murder—and helps uncover the truth. It’s a great read and even better discussion!

🎶✨ Holiday Show at Oakmont of The Lakes ✨🎶

We had an absolutely wonderful time at our Resident Holiday Show here at Oakmont of The Lakes Senior Living! The house was full as four amazing entertainers serenaded us with great tunes, filling the room with music, laughter, and holiday cheer.

Residents enjoyed delicious festive cocktails—including White Russians and spiked eggnog—while singing along and soaking in the joyful atmosphere. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone out enjoying the music, from dancing and clapping to singing along from their seats.💃🕺🎤

The entertainers did an incredible job engaging with our residents, reminding us that no matter your age or ability, music brings us all together. The afternoon was all about fun, connection, and celebrating the season as one big community.

Thank you to our talented performers and to all our residents who made this holiday show such a special event. Moments like these are what make Oakmont of The Lakes feel like home. ❤️🎄

What a delightful afternoon at Oakmont of the Lakes! Our Ladies’ Holiday Tea Party was a beautiful blend of festive sparkle, heartwarming laughter, and delicious seasonal treats. ☕️🎀❄️

From the elegant tea service to the yummy holiday drinks, everything was set to create a charming winter wonderland. But the true highlight was the joy shared among the amazing women who fill our community with grace and light each day.
Cheers to magical moments and holiday memories that will last all season long! ✨🌟💐

🎃✨ Boo-tique Bash 2025 at Oakmont of The Lakes! ✨🎃
A huge thank-you to all our wonderful residents and incredible team members who joined us for this year’s Halloween celebration! 🧡

We had an amazing time enjoying delicious dishes crafted by Chef Porscha, tasty treats at the snack station, creative fun at the pumpkin station, plenty of smiles at the photo booth and of course some spooky cocktails and mocktails at our potions bar . 🍂📸🍹

And of course, our live magician truly left us spellbound! 🪄

It was a magical evening filled with laughter, community, and memories we’ll cherish. Thank you all for making it so special — we can’t wait for next year’s festivities! 👻💫

🌿💜 Walking to End Alzheimer’s! 💜🌿

On October 18, our teams from Oakmont of the Lakes and Oakmont of Las Vegas proudly joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s! It was inspiring to see our team members, families, and community come together in support of such an important cause.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, walked, and shared their love and strength. Together, we’re one step closer to a world without Alzheimer’s. 💜🕊️
