We kicked off our Mother’s Day festivities today with our marketing team hosting an afternoon doing Make-up with Mother’s in our Traditions neighborhood.

Our Cinco De Mayo party was a great success today! Elote corn, mini tacos, and caramel filled churros were all the rage! The activity team enjoyed the festivities as well. You’ll see Adam, our activity director here in an authentic sombrero, and our activity assistant, Audrey is here posing with Sharon in our Traditions neighborhood.

Yesterday we were serenaded by one of our favorite entertainers during an impromptu happy hour. Logan joins us all the way from Salt Lake City, Utah!

He crooned, we swooned, and the rest is history. It was all smiles and we heard a set of songs that remind us all of old Las Vegas. He’ll be back soon!

Creativity was shining bright at Oakmont of the Lakes ✨

Our residents had such a wonderful time creating beautiful stained glass paintings—each piece as unique as the artist behind it. It was so much fun watching everyone explore their creativity, try something new, and share plenty of laughs along the way.

Moments like these remind us that it’s never too late to discover a new passion 💛

We are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our very own residents, Linda, whose inspiring story of repairing WWII warplanes at just 17 is now being shared with the community. 🇺🇸

Her strength, resilience, and history remind us what an honor it is to serve this remarkable generation every day.

A special thank you to KSNV News 3, Las Vegas for coming out and helping share Linda’s story with the world.

At 99 years old, Las Vegas resident Linda Albanese can still vividly recall the precision work she did on military aircraft during World War II.

Indulge Event🍷🍇

Here at Oakmont of the Lakes Senior Living, we hosted our wonderful Indulge Event an afternoon where families and guests were invited to tour our community and experience all that we have to offer.

Guests enjoyed an incredible culinary spread featuring lollipop lamb, lobster, smoked salmon, and charcuterie, all thoughtfully paired with perfectly selected individual wines. 🍷✨

Happy International Women’s Day! 🌸☕

Today we celebrated the amazing women in our community with a delightful tea party at Oakmont of the Lakes Senior Living. Our residents enjoyed colorful macarons, delicious egg sandwiches, and of course plenty of tea.

It was such a joy to see everyone dressed for the occasion—white lace gloves, beautiful small feathered hats, and plenty of smiles all around. Moments like these remind us how special it is to come together, share stories, and celebrate the wonderful women who inspire us every day.

🌏✨ Travel Club Takes on China! ✨🌏

Our residents at Oakmont of the Lakes enjoyed a wonderful Chinese New Year education time as we “traveled” to China! 🇨🇳

We learned about China’s rich history and traditions, sampled Chinese lollipops, cookies, and other tasty snacks, and shared meaningful conversations about travel and culture. 🥠🍭

It was a beautiful time of connection, curiosity, and discovering new things about a country with such deep history and vibrant celebrations. We love exploring the world together—no passport required! ❤️✈️
