We are incredibly proud of the team at Western High School, and especially Sara Tafoya -- the school nurse at Western High School and daughter of our own Nurse Practitioner Bonnie Tafoya, who recently helped save a student’s life during a cardiac arrest. Their quick thinking and teamwork made all the difference.
Thank you for your dedication, courage, and care, you are true heroes in our community!

Teachers and nursing staff at Western High School saved a 14-year-old boy who collapsed on the football field in December after going into cardiac arrest.
