April is oral cancer awareness month. Oral cancer claims the life of one person every twenty-four hours. Many don’t know that oral cancer is practically undetectable and typically only diagnosed through a dental office with the help of our amazing oral surgeon that we refer to for a “biopsy” of a questionable area.
