Got a visit from Bean and his mama today. Dogs are 💯 welcome here! In fact I insist you bring them if booking an in-person reiki session (as long as you’re comfortable with it and they’re well-behaved/potty-trained) - you know your pup best. Bean is 4 months old and as you can see has lots of energy. A lot of pups will snooze through a sesh but not Beanie. This toy retained maybe 75% of his attention but the other 25% I was either holding him in one hand (he’s so tiny!) and doing reiki with the other or picking him back up to put him on the table or reintroducing him to his toy. This is real life right? - having to work around what we deem as distractions helps keep us in flow and adaptable. This was a great session overall and Bean’s first reiki session. ✨ I’ve actually been thinking of changing how I do these sessions and do them on the floor vs a table so bigger dogs can lay with their owners and smaller pups can roam if they want. Some dogs can only take so much energy and they’ll leave the room for a break the come back. 🐾
