In recognition of National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, UMC Trauma Center is hosting an educational event on how to identify and report human trafficking in the Las Vegas community. This training is designed for health care providers, nurses, social workers and EMS professionals, but interested community members are welcome to attend. The training will feature presentations from law enforcement, health care providers and survivors.

UMC is home to Nevada's only Level I Trauma Center and only designated Pediatric Trauma Center.
