With crafty hands and caring hearts, Grand Montecito's Resident led Crafty Creators Committee came together to make beautiful breast cancer awareness bracelets, provided by our amazing sponsor, Compassion Care Hospice! Each bracelet was made with love and we are wearing them proudly! What a meanigful way to come together to show support, SPARK creativity, and spread hope through our community.

Sweet Treats and Pink Pride at Grand Montecito Memory Care!! Concierge Extraordinare Jessica keeping our lobby festive and full of pink spirit this October for our Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! Thank you for all that you do, Jessica! A huge thank you to Brighton for the yummy pink donuts and to Compassion Care Hospice for the beautiful banner and our Breast Cancer Awareness activity bracelets. In October we wear PINK!!! Grand Montecito Memory Care started off October with our Residents and Staff participating in a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! We are so appreciative of the love and support that was showered on our community by our partnerships with Brighton, Compassion Care, and Haven Hospice, along with our sweet neighbors, Imagine Schools at Mountain View. Here's a snapshot of our supporters getting ready for the cause close to our hearts, Breast Cancer Awareness. These colorful creations help Residents SPARK skills like creativity, focus, self expression, and social engagement. Each piece is a shining example of the joy that comes from working together and sharing talents. Grand Montecito Memory Care is grateful for our continued partnership with the Centennial Hills Library, who recently sponsored a paper fan craft activity for our Residents. The Residents enjoyed an afternoon decorating and personalizing their fans, along with quality time and connection around the crafting table. With the library's outreach program, they visit our Residents each month, sponsoring a creative craft or activity. Thank you to our amazing library friends, Genella, Araceli, and Eric for bringing joy, creativity, and community connection into our Residents' home. Although it's the first day of fall, today is also National Ice Cream Cone Day! Grand Montecito's Resident led Creative Cuisine Crew, along with Lifestyle Director Shannon had a blast last month coming up with a healthy twist on a classic treat! The Residents mixed protein yogurt, banana slices, marshmallows, and chocolate chips together, filling their ice cream cones with the creation, and then topping it off with whip cream and sprinkles! It was a perfect way to blend fun, flavor, and wellness into every cone! Do you have a creative recipe for your ice cream cones? We'd love to try it!
