Please help us congratulate our CEO and dear friend Jeff Iverson on receiving a proclamation from the county this morning for his amazing impact on our community.

“Jeff Iverson’s life work is a testament to the power of second chances and the profound impact one person can have on an entire community,” said Commissioner Justin Jones. “He has not only helped rewrite how we support our most vulnerable neighbors, but he has also built the infrastructure of hope itself—providing a pathway from recovery to redemption for thousands of Southern Nevadans. Clark County is stronger because of his courage and compassion.”

Iverson, who received a full pardon from Governor Joe Lombardo in 2023, has dedicated his life to creating new beginnings for others. His legacy includes founding and building cornerstone community institutions:

Freedom House Sober Living Las Vegas (2010): A supportive sober living environment offering a safe path for individuals in recovery.
Crossroads of Southern Nevada (2018): Now the largest indigent detox and treatment center in Nevada, serving the underfunded and underinsured.
Shine a Light Foundation (2017): A vital outreach program serving vulnerable and unhoused individuals in the Las Vegas tunnels.

“A pioneer in the substance use and community space for well over a decade, Jeff has helped rewrite how we support our unhoused neighbors and uplift those struggling with addiction. His tireless efforts have impacted thousands of lives,” added community leader Rob Banghart.

This recognition highlights Iverson’s role as both a community builder and a voice of hope, demonstrating how service and recovery can create lasting change.
